IT'S A GIRL

Time to THINK PINK! Baby Moyer is a girl. As many of you know we were really hoping for a boy to carry on the Moyer name, but it looks like a little girl will just have to inherit (and pass on) those crazy little Moyer traits. The doctors tell us she's healthy and extremely active. So active, in fact, that she wouldn't hold still long enough for some of the ultrasound photos they wanted so we'll have to go back and hope she'll be napping. The ultrasound technician said she had never seen anything like it . . . she was running a race inside there. All in all, the measurements they were able to get were all indicative of a healthy baby girl.

We'll be posting pictures soon of mom & baby so don't forget to check back!

Our Story

As many of you know, in November, 2005, we lost a very dear friend--DeeDee Golden. It has been a very difficult time for us (Sheri in particular) trying to deal with this loss. BUT, as we all know, God does not "take" without "giving." Approximately two (2) weeks after DeeDee's death, we became pregnant. We did not know it at the time (of course), but once we realized what was happening to us (and after we stopped pointing the finger at each other as to who's fault it was), all we could do was look to the heaven's and blame DeeDee. She's up there playing with God and as a result--two of the most unsuspecting people are going to be parents. So, as we embark upon this new adventure in our lives, we honor DeeDee Golden for all the good she has brought into our lives (in life and in death).

In loving memory...

WOW! Talk about surprises.

We got the shock of our lives on January 4, 2005. A baby is on the way. Something Heath and Sheri did NOT plan on . . . in fact, something we were "planning" on avoiding. However, it appears, God's will is stronger than our own. His plan overrides ours and in August, our dynamic duo will become a trio. More to come on how this little miracle occured (aside from the obvious reasons). Please check in frequently to follow our "growing" progress!
